Meet Octavia
Octavia Marsh, MCHES®, LSSWB, is a public health leader and Master Certified Health Education Specialist with a deep commitment to community well-being.
As CEO and Founder of The Thread Collaborative, LLC, she helps organizations weave together people, purpose, and progress through public health consulting services.
Octavia currently serves as Prevention Lead for the Integrated Prevention Advisory Group at U.S. Army Fort Lee and coordinates well-being initiatives at Randolph-Macon College. Her experience spans health promotion, suicide prevention and mental health, substance use prevention, problem gaming and gambling prevention, and community outreach.
A certified trainer in Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid, REVIVE opioid overdose response, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), and Talk Saves Lives, Octavia is passionate about equipping leaders and communities with tools that foster resilience, strengthen relationships, and support lifelong wellness.
She is an active advocate for prevention and public health across generations.
